Precept Online: Genesis - Part 3

Genesis Part 3: Becoming a Friend of the Faithful God, a Study on Abraham An ordinary man, an extraordinary promise, and an awesome God. Do you feel pretty ordinary? Maybe a little insignificant? It’s all right. In fact, it’s good. Why? Because it’s just like God to pick ordinary people and do extraordinary things with them and through them. All that’s required is that you simply listen to what God says and then move forward from there, one step at a time. Becoming a Friend of the Faithful God explores the truths found in Genesis Chapters 12 through 25 and lays a solid foundation for the promises of God we see in rest of the Bible. In this part of Genesis, you will observe God's covenant with Abraham, focusing on themes of faith, promise, and blessing as they unfold through the lives of Abraham, Sarah, Isaac, and Ishmael. This Precept study is designed so you can spend two weeks on each lesson. During each week's class time, we will alternate between discussing our lesson and watching a video related to our lesson. Precept Online will meet via Zoom. You will receive a meeting link before the first meeting. Registration is open through November 11. You can expect about 4-5 hours of homework each week. There are 2 options for study guides: (1) Order a Precept Upon Precept guide when you register. It will be shipped to you.
