ALL men (junior high and up) are invited to our next Men's Breakfast on Saturday, November 16. Guest speaker for this event is David Klingler, former All-American quarterback from UH and first-round NFL draft pick. As a football star at UH, David set a number of school and NCAA records for passing yards and touchdown passes. He was drafted in 1992 by the Cincinnati Bengals and went on to play for six years in the NFL. In the summer after his rookie season in the NFL, David attended a summer Bible study where the teacher exhorted David to quit football and go to seminary. Ten years later, he had earned both a ThM and PhD from Dallas Theological Seminary, where he now serves as Associate Professor of Bible Exposition. Dr. Klingler is married to his wife, Katie, and has two sons.
